On the plus side, that means we'll finish 9th, avoid the playoffs, and can rebuild over the summer with a new board in place.
Sounds about right to me too. I doubt we'd entertain anything less than 500, and can't imagine who'd pay more than 750 for a 31-year-old who may well never hit the same form again.
I can think of a good few reasons. Most of them are Glasgow-related, but sadly I wouldn't trust all of our own fans not to embarrass the club these days either.
3-2 going on 6, at least. Probably the most impressive "new manager bounce" I can remember, albeit against a team we've had in our pocket recently.
My guess would be he'd have been a lot more expensive to sack at the end of last season. He'd have met most, if not all of his targets the club had set him at that point. Getting papped out of Europe...
He never bothered me as much as he clearly did some people, but given he'll presumably still be commuting from Brighton, it does seem like an odd job for him to be tempted by, even with his old pal...
Now in the 80th minute and I wouldn't dare to even open the box yet.
As did they tbh, and I'm still not convinced I'd have given ours either after seeing it from all the angles.
He was, but later on, not for the goal celebration.
No expert here, but looking at Denmark’s entry requirements, it appears that if you’ve previously tested positive for COVID then you’re only allowed to enter Denmark from the UK (which is on the...
The rumours were true.

It shouldn't, but hopefully it will at least remind the manager that we were ****e for most of our "excellent" end to the season too.
Wouldn't touch him with a bargepole right now I'm afraid. GA has said he wants players who'll be able to play 40 games a season, and an unfit Louis Moult is not one of those.
And had he scored it, I very much doubt we'd have gone on to win 7-6 anyway.
Two of our last three wins were against struggling teams that hadn't won in a while, one of whom had gone so far as to hire a new manager because they hadn't won in a while.
Wasn't even considering that, it's in the past as you say. Just think we haven't actually looked beyond redemption in the past couple of games -- lacking ideas and confidence for sure, and certainly...
Not sure I'd have pushed him just yet, but it was getting there and probably best for all that he walks on his own. Not interested in promoting Lasley I'm afraid, he's obviously failed to motivate...
So what are the criteria of the sell-on clause in this particular contract? Would be unusual for such clauses to trigger unless a profit is made.
Are we really likely to get anything from this? Wigan sold him at a loss, so I doubt we'll get any sell-on.
They're the proper colour of the 1950 shorts that this year's strip is based on.
However, this kit is specifically meant to be a throwback to one of our "best teams/seasons", the 1950 League Cup winning team, who wore white shorts. (Which I know isn't in the last 30 years, but if...
They had an off day for most of the first half and we still only managed one shot on target.
Not a fan of the company, but hard to turn down the money I suppose, and the sponsor-free shirt is a nice bonus.
I guess the question now is just how many crappy Paddy Power ads we'll see around...
Even I've heard of him, and I haven't seen a Rangers game in donkeys years.
