Good to see you again, hopefully to see us get 'back on track' ...
Agree with your view about playing two strikers ( have started a new thread )
Disagree about the defensive formation - it was more a case of imbalance (but playing CBR and Nev up front 'may' have...
He's the one that played in goal ...
Be interested to see what other people's thoughts are regarding Team selection/formation
Think we look best when we play with a back 3.
With the players that we now have available, I think that...
Agree 100% with the above sentiment - playing Shilow, Charlie AND Aaron in the same team from the start just didn't feel right.
Looking forward to seeing Josh and Tabs playing alongside each other...
Unfortunately the triple substitution was made after they had scored the second goal.
They had 2 fresh players on for the second half, and that probably caught us out a bit.
Good to see Zac and...
Donny made 2 subs due to injuries, and made 2 more at HT ...
Pretty certain we will see Tabs for the last 30 mins ...
Agree Gazan, team doesn't look right with Tracey, Rowe and Kirk
Nah, he will be okay. Only one GK on the bench !!
Zac and Tabs also on the bench ...
Just had a thought, if we start with Tom ...
... would we only need one goalie on the subs bench ??
Have to agree with you MfC ...
Looking back, complacency definitely set in at 2-0. Regarding substitutions - taking off the 2 goal-scorers (who would have been buzzing) was not the greatest ...
...
Am hoping that playing away will suit us better.
FGS - Nev ( really hope he manages 20+ goals this season )
Great having Tabs back again, but think we really missed Capt Luke last week
...
No worries !!
Will be glad to still be 'in-the-mix' at the end of the season.
Good name for a Crewe Forum by the way
The teams at the bottom of the table will be fighting for every point, to try and avoid going into non-league ...
The teams in the middle will have little to play for, and therefore no 'real'...
That would hurt - that really would ...
... let's hope it's one more than 4th place !!!
Ah well, got the first goal-scorers right and very nearly got the crowd right (4995) ...
... pity that the predicted score wasn't correct.
No easy games - but IF we are 'on our game' think we can get another win
Guess Tabs will be on the bench initially, was really good to see him back playing last week
Hope Charlie starts again,...
too many Guinness me thinks, would have to count to be sure to be sure
Get well soon
That would make sense - Luton had beaten the Alex 4-0 at Kenilworth Road a few weeks earlier.
Incidentally it was Bruce Rich who scored for Luton, he beat Willie Mailey from about 35 yards.
Fantastic player - unbelievably talented
The only way that the opposition could stop him was to chop him down.
Thanks for the memories Stan - football genius!
ps. If only you could have...
The game that sticks in my mind was in 1968 - last game of the season. Luton were already champions (Div 4), and we needed to win to secure promotion.
"Crewe clinch promotion, and a £300 per man...
86 points
This is a really tough game.
They lost midweek away at Mansfield 9-2, and they are gonna be hurting - and looking for restoring some pride
On the other side of the coin there is a real danger...
Stockport make a triple substitution at HT
