Really enjoyed watching that. However, all we seem to focus on is what we do with the ball. All this means very little if you simply cannot defend set pieces or balls into the box.

We’ve become a team of this division. Spend 2/3 years in any given division and you become associated with that level. When I was a kid it would have been unthinkable that forest were anything other...
Phil Parkinson so I assume it’ll be ultra long ball.
Couldn’t see him or Reeves in the training video today. We need one, and ideally both, to play. If both are out, we’re struggling.
Tyson was offside.
Good luck to him. Always gave 100% for us. I wonder what you think you’re getting. If you think you’re getting a hard working up and down midfielder with limited technical ability then you’re spot on.
If he came to us now, he’d be 3rd choice right back, 4th choice centre back and 5th choice central midfield

Totally agree with what the squad lacks. Recruitment and planning has been pathetic this season. 19 signings to a squad that finished 3rd! The people who put the squad together with no consideration...
So much respect for Rawlinson. Been a brilliant signing. Wonder what the chances of our owners releasing him in the summer are?
Slocombe - no serious alternative
Wootton - physical presence and leading scorer
Rawlinson - warrior/leader
Roberts - magic/match winner
Clearly because they’re big names. Do you think big name ex-players all give insightful thoughts?
Alan Shearer ‘I’d never heard of Hatem Ben Afra - he’s come from France’
Roy Keane ‘I’d punch David...
Injury prone though. Can’t play a couple of games before his calf goes. Relying on the fitness of McCrory and Turner was another one of Ardley’s mistakes this season.
Completely disagree about the commentators. I always find them well researched and knowledgeable - particularly Virgo. He clearly knows this division and the teams and players in it. Compare that to...
Not as bad as Leigh Curtis!
For me, this has been a massive problem this season and is a huge worry going forwards, which is hugely ironic considering our owners background.
I've never been a huge fan of Ardley's formations,...
If they don’t sack him now, I’ll start to doubt their ambition. If they keep him in the summer (which I fear they will) it tells us they’re happy to stay in this division.
They do but they remind me of Steve Gibson when he had Bryan Robson at Middlesbrough. No matter how bad he was, he wouldn’t sack him.
Up to them isn’t it. If they’re happy to stay in this divison,...
Couple of thoughts...
Ardley often seems terrified by the opposition and we usually start so slowly and passively. The worst/best example of this was the play off final. I just can’t see us winning...
Nope. We just don’t create anything. A cross that drifted in at Weymouth and nothing else, a wonder goal at kings Lynn and nothing else , nothing against chesterfield, nothing tonight.
We just...
You want to bet on it! Wish the local media would ask him about his tactics and lack of width. It’s so painful watching us passing sideways
Wonder if our owners would go for the polar opposite in style of play? We don’t really have the players to play Cowleys brand of football/hoofball. Would need a massive overhaul of players.
I everyone is fit, 4-3-3. Slocombe, Brindley, McRory, Lacey, Rawlinson, Doyle, O'Brien, Reeves with Enzio and Roberts wide of Wootton.
We're clearly poorer up front than last season and haven't...
Disagree. I think he’s got one of the safest jobs in football. He’s taken us down, failed to take us up and the chairman said that he won’t be judged in league position. He’s absolutely bullet proof.
For me, yes absolutely. Unfortunately, we’ve been told he’s not judged on results or the league table so the result is irrelevant. Bonkers
