    Next season:

    Martinez/Gauci - sell Olsen and buy a 3rd keeper
    Nedjelko/KKH - sell Cash
Konsa/CB - sell Carlos, wages too high
    Pau/Mings
    Moreno/LB - sell Digne, wages
    Kamara/CDM needed
    Dougie/Tielemans/SJM/Ramsey/Buendia
    Bailey/Diaby
Watkins/Rogers/Striker (I think Duran may leave but I do like what he brings and he is improving) - buyback Archer?

    Offload - Hause, Dendoncker,
I agree with most of that WCV.

We have no choice but to take back Archer. As soon as the clowns in Sheff were relegated, the buyback clause kicked in, the same 18m that they paid for him.

I'd like to see a seasoned striker brought in, pity Giroud has gone stateside.

Diaby just doesn't look settled, and Monchi likes that left winger from Villareal, Alex Baena, who knows?

I know what you mean about Diaby, he is good when we break and has a confidence about his finishing, got a few assists too so not terrible for his first season. He is too lightweight when played up top though, just doesn't stick so I'm not sure if he fits this league or our system.

Giroud is a player I've always liked mate, his experience would be good around the place.

Left winger - yes please, we need a plan B, could we see Jack back in a Villa shirt?

I’m still on cloud nine with our qualification to the Champions League. I must admit though I don’t think we’re ready for it in terms of player quality and a leaky defence. I can’t understand why we are great at set pieces yet really poor at defending them. Surely that is one for McPhee to have a look at.

We do have a lot of players to come back from injury I suppose and I can’t pretend to understand the FFP stuff. All I do know is that Unai has a lot of work to do over the summer but he’s done a remarkable job so far so fingers crossed. An exciting time indeed. UP THE VILLA!

wouldnt disagree with most, of that Westy, although the new RB may have been purchased as back up/one for the future rather than 1st choice immediately? As for ffp/psd/wtf, seems only to apply to some and not others, but as I understand it qualifying for Europe means restrictions are tighter due to EUFA regs,so some more of Unias rabbits out of hats will be required I think, lets also hope he can keep and improve Duran, at his best I see a combination of Carew and Benteke in him, his ceiling in my view is only going to be based on what his mentality allows. Keep the faith UTFV.

I had the Benteke thought too about Duran, a maverick with the touch of the Balotelli/Anelka temperament, definitely brings something different. If Emery can man manage him the same way Fergie did with Cantona we have a right player there.

    Good times!
