So here we are. Blew our chances of automatic promotion from being 2 points behind the leaders with 3 games in hand - ended up third.
Now it's the Bol-ox final at Wembley and in a one -off shoot out anything could happen.
    Hopefully we'll turn up.

Hard luck Bolton, I really wanted you to go up. Perhaps next season as champions.

Tough luck Wanderlust, was hoping to see you guys down the Den. Vernon Kay will be gutted.

Thanks all for your commiserations but after the way we threw it away in the last 3 months culminating in perhaps our worst performance of the season in our final game, fact is we were not good enough and didnt deserve promotion.
It’s all well and good to be entertaining when we play well, but it was naive and dependent on keeping the better players injury free. But mainly naive.
Whether or not there will be wholesale changes for next season or not remains to be seen.

Vernon Kaye, Peter Kaye, Clive Myrie and Gandalf can all enter into a suicide pact.
Although Gandalf was actually born in Burnley before moving to Bolton when he was a kid so he can be excluded.
