I thought we lost the game and the league with it.

    Everyday is a schoolday
We gave them a 3-0 shoeing at their crumbling asbestos-heavy midden in September 1985 when they had Hugh Burns and Craig Paterson sent off. Tattie wound up their West Enclosure nutjobs that afternoon to the extent that they attempted a pitch invasion. They were fined for this infraction, but somehow so were we. Cnuts.

Burns tackle on Hewitt was only 'bettered' by Cleland? on Del Pierro. Totally halved after being ripped to shreds by JH thankfully Hewitt was fine which made Burns 'tackle' slap stick - hopefully that's what his entire career is remembered by - further contrast to our no. 11.

I have heard, unsubstantiated, rumours that Glasgow's finest came into the changing room at half time to ask Fergie to go easy in the second half for fear of a riot. I do remember a glass ashtray being launched onto the pitch from the enclosure - who the fck takes an ashtray to the fitba?

Possibly nicked from a local bar that accommodated them pre match, which was likely the Torry Bar.

Delivering papers to that place when they were up was an eye opener for a 13 year old.

Was at Dante's inner circle but I suspect one of those heavy faux crystal ashtrays was considered a nice gift for Willemina

A mind this game clear as ony. Ah wis a 'golden goal' ticket seller .... which earned ma nae commission, but Ah usually got a free seat in the stand.

A certain Archibald McPherson strolled by, and Ah asked him if he wanted a golden goal ticket. He raked 10p oot o' eez pocket, and said tae ma as Ah handed him his ticket ... "There'll be no goals today son". ..

Ah was still smirkin' aboot his comment as Ah headed up Merkland Road efter the game, and was approached by a typically inebriated hun fa wished me "a sh!te xmas and a p!shy new year" .... ... Ah didna respond ... ither than tae keep smilin'.

Edit: could have just searched, I suppose! Bella Ciao, a song dedicated to the Italian resistance. Quality.

The club have secured 8 million pounds in funding, most of which will go towards a new indoor facility at Cormack Park.

It is good to know that they are fixing a major design flaw from their original project.
Well done to Dave Cormack, Tom Crotty etc for another cash injection to fund this happening.
They are making the club strong financially and they have my respect in those regards.

The next step is getting a better stadium. It shouldn’t be too difficult to provide the best stadium ever in Scottish football.

Changes to our youth set up.

Warning - contains a lot of management speak.
