Indeed, though to be fair, Weimann and Batth are good free transfers and an upgrade on players that have left.

Are you referring to NML and Bradley, the latter of whom, although still technically a Derby player, spent last season at Luton?

Well Weimann is IMO an upgrade on NML and a better option than CBT based on last season. Yes Batth is a significant upgrad eon Bradely, who came from Luton but was loaned to Wycombe after January and is now at Lincoln.

Strong rumours now that Derby are after Callum Brittain, a RB currently at .......wait for it....Blackburn with one year left on his contract. A RB that is able to avoid injuires is a must I'd say, so this makes sense. The info is reliable but as always the proof is in the signing.

BBC reporting we've agreed a ?5M fee plus possible ?1.5M in addons with Charlotte FC for Patrick Agyemang. Personal terms and the medical after the CONCACAF Gold Cup plus he's been selected for the MLS All Star game on July 24th. We'll get him late around 2 weeks before the season starts but at least he'll be arriving match fit... unless he gets injured in the meantime.

Not sure what to make of this one. On the face of it, he seems a big strong forward with plenty of potential and at around £5.5 million seems good value for a Striker. Certainly evidence that the recruitment and scouting team are doing their job finding options that are hopefully both affordable and quality.

Im already looking forward to seeing the GBP 64.5 million bid from Chelsea at the start of next season as they realise they need to buy another 6 strikers for the 26-27 season
