I do not take any notice of these stats as they are not a true reflection, to me you cannot look at the end of the season and say this is how we got on when we played top half or bottom half teams and come to any conclusion , to me it is when you play a team that counts , you can play a team in october who is in good form and lying say 5th in the league , you win and get a good result against a top team but come May that team have slipped down the league to the bottom half and therefore when you come up with the stats it shows that we beat a bottom half side when actually the truth is the opposite because they were top half when we actually played them but the only stat that matters is where we finish , it is just as simple as that.
