It’ll be Morecambe at Christmas or New Year with Gateshead and/or the monkey hangers thrown in for good measure. Us v York is nailed on for the first or last games, maybe both. We’ll be playing at your place on a Tuesday in January, postponed until February, then March, then April. You lot will play your last 8 (8) home games in the last 2 weeks of the season.

How do you feel about going stight back up at the first attempt griff?

Have you improved your squad but more importantly are they adapted to NL football,it will be interesting to see how Sparky deals with life out of the EFL but fair play to him for giving it a go,the playoffs are a nightmare and past form doesn't apply on the day just ask York

    Final game of the season?

Carlisle v Rochdale, Carlisle need three points to go up and Rochdale needed three to avoid the drop,Jimmy Glass is brought in at the last minute and scores yet again in the 90+ min (maybe)

It’s in the lap of the Gods Chalky, we need to start the season fit and with the right attitude which will already be an improvement on last season. Enough has changed since thenbehind the scenes to make it clear to players that they have a chance if they want to prove themselves to the management and fans - and some of them really need to. There were some poor attitudes in EFL2. I don’t know how many more will be leaving, but even with the squad as it is we still need a couple of central midfielders, possibly another CB and a striker. Then loan a few youngsters and dead wood out and off we go. We have a good few with National League experience so we have no excuses if we’re caught wanting.

When does the season start,it can't be much behind EFL fixtures,no point in doing Both Sides to Score as the NL usually is not on the coupon and let's be honest not many took any interest in it anyway

I would have thought that Carlisle will be in the mix at the end of the season because they will be a big fish in a small pond with their away support but having said that there will be equally big fish to contend with but I will be cheering the blues on
