    Early excuses from t'boss

1 we didn't want to sign just anybody
2 the new lads need time to settle in (that's assuming we eventually sign some)
3 we didn't want to risk them (the old crocks resting in the treatment room after running up a hill in Portugal)
4 we're rebuilding and need to be patient (erm...most of the players we've got we here last year)

    OR

He's our number 1 target and we have chased him for ages
Hes chosen us over several other options from the league above.
Or maybe Evans has gone and we get the truth for a change

Which ever way you look at it,it?s going to be a long hard season.A bit more football & effort I think that?s all we can ask this season.

Season ticket sales reckon are down on last season. Want some signings fans believe in not trialists.

Then again lol if the kids help out and we get a decent start. It could be a brilliant season even if we don't get promotion.
An ideal scenario for me would be top 8. 1 or 2 of the kids showing that wiles/ogene spark and for Powell to have a season like he finishes last season. As imo he was head n shoulders above the rest, even oddofin

Odoffin not here now but Powell was the best signing we made last season. His best position is left of midfield he's not a wide player. I'm hoping McGuckin is the answer wide right.

Seem the standard stock phrases spewed out by the vast majority of football managers
