Trying to get wonder kid over the line

Reports saying we are very keen on Antonio Nusa.

" Newcastle United are being linked with a late move for Club Brugge star Antonio Nusa, with reports in Belgium suggesting the Mags are ready to get a deal over the line this week.

Belgian press are suggesting Newcastle are trying to hijack Nusa's proposed move to Brentford, with the player seemingly set to switch to the Premier League this month.

We think you can probably file this one under the "not likely to happen" section of the transfer window deals folder, still, there's something in it. As previously reported, Newcastle have shown an interest in Nousa and is thought to be a player they like.

However, Eddie Howe has made it clear the club need to sell before bringing anyone in and at present, it doesn't appear anyone is heading out the door. The need for another winger is not pressing right now and this feels like a deal that would much more likely happen in the summer."

If there's any truth in that then we need to steer clear.
We have enough issues with injuries as it is without adding potential sick notes to the list.

Agreed. No more sickies, we only have so manu Under 21’s who can step up.
