    Good darts...

Just watched a great PDC Final, and well done to Gary Anderson £250,000 not to be sniffed at.

Sat supping a Ski watching Detroit and Dallas in the play offs... Can't pick a winner deep into the 3rd quarter but if the Lions win I'll drink to them

Is there a more odious man in 'sport' than Phil Taylor?

I always thought it was traditional to shake hands at the end of a sporting contest, not so Taylor. He pours himself a glass of water before going through the traditional process. Never has a decent word to say for his opponent when he's beaten, always about him.

Not often I support a Jock over an Englishman, but certainly the case in this instant.

First day back at work innit, surely you can just about remember that?

And I've just found out I've got to spend the last week in Jan in New Jersey when I should be at a gig in London. This makes me grumpy!!

I'll be spending most of this week trying to get out of the trip.

Funnily enough that was my first reaction when he didn't immediately shake hands. However he was very gracious in the match aftermath both before the mandatory "interview " and during it. I thought both players came out with a lot of credit and mutual respect... not often you see the victor and vanquished doing a joint interview amidst back slapping a a bit of banter. Darts went up a bit in my estimation !!

I prefer the 'FA Vase version' of the Darts World Championships from Frimley Green
