    Several of the players should be totally embarrassed by their performances. Bier, Wilkinson and Obika couldn’t make Centre forwards for a boys team. That’s probably being disrespectful to boys football. We can’t pass the ball, man mark or play with any belief or urgency. If Kettlewell goes my fear is that it will be the usual suspects in for the job, Jack Ross, Malky Mackay, Calum Davidson, etc need someone with fresh ideas and a knowledge of how to get a team like ours out of a relegation dogfight

    Why? We last appointed a manager with previous experience of our league (ignoring bringing back McGhee) in the early 1980s, there is absolutely nothing to suggest we'll do anything different.

    That said, should we change, Davidson and Ross are probably considerably better options than we had applying in the 2022 farce which led us to this mess...
