PL - Table after fixtures of 4/9/17

PL - Table after fixtures of 4/9/17.

Please check (and, errr, let me know, like!) for errors and omissions. Remember, as both a twenty year bond holding Leeds fan and a New England Patriots season ticket holder, I'm barely human and the stresses and strains of both literally and figuratively using my cranium to enter your incredibly well-considered scores isn't always as accurate as it might be. Oh, and it hurts too.

    Table is in format:- poster/previous total/weekly score/new total/status.

    Silentman / 33 / 18 / 51 / Active
    Hgatenasty / 30 / 18 / 48 / Active

    Belper69Ram / 18 / 18 / 36 / Active
    Dalek / 24 / 12 / 36 / Active
    MORRIM / 27 / 9 / 36 / Active
    T_bird7982 / 24 / 9 / 33 / Active
    Davee59 / 12 / 18 / 30 / Active
    Homer / 18 / 12 / 30 / Permanent
    Fredlufc74 / 21 / 9 / 30 / Active

An international weekend where picking either the home teams or the "home" teams would've netted you a guaranteed twelve points, but did you have a different strategy?

Four managed eigh**** points to share the weekly top spot. Well done to *Belper69Ram (xOOEE), Davee59 (EOxOE), Hgatenasty (xOEOE) and Silentman (EOOOO). Nasty used a blanket 2-0 prediction approach, but the other three did work a little harder to get their points, with Silentman arguably the best of the bunch, picking the outcomes of all five fixtures. Silent but deadly?

Calverleyboy's (xEOOO) 1-0 blanket wasn't quite as well made as Nasty's, but it did still score fif**** points. Send in the Calverley, errr, ry.

Silentman's internationally acclaimed efforts have pushed him to the top of the PL leaderboard, with Hgatenasty and Orgoner now three points behind and Calverleyboy a further six off of the pace.

We have our first Strike 3 poster of the season and no Newbies to report.

There was one draw, so any Strike One, Strike Two or Strike Three posters scored three, two or one for their total lack of effort and Johnny_Default moves to eigh**** points for the season.

    The results:-

    (WCQ) Georgia v ROI (1-1)
    (WCQ) Wales v Austria (1-0)
(WCQ) NI v Czech Republic (2-0)
    (WCQ) England v Slovakia (2-1)
    (WCQ) Scotland v Malta (2-0)

The next set of fixtures is out as a separate thread.

    Good luck!

As a sheep*****er I am obviously dead honest. Much as I don't like to inform you, I made my score 15 points and not 18. Then again, my maths is non too good when I have to count more than the fingers on my hands, because I like to keep my socks on. Thanks Orgoner. Belper69Ram

Thanks for that - it was my bad handwriting - your 3-1 England prediction looked like a 2-1 by the time I read it later.

Will adjust accordingly in the next table.

    * We quite like sheep here too, we're just better at hiding it.

No problem. I'm used to seeing my team give away three points so thought I may just as well follow suit. (I was tempted to say that your team usually give my team three points but, with it being a Leeds site, thought that was not a good idea!)http://boards.footymad.net/images/icons/icon6.png
