To some extent you can blame E.H. for his team selection

and consequently the defeat yesterday, but you can't blame either him or the new owners for the recent poor displays and present situation.

It has taken Ashley and mainly a series of poor managers a dedicated decade and a half of greed, selfishness, and stupidity to drag this once mighty club to its knees.

Saving it from the depths might happen this season, but rebuilding and surpassing former glories is going to take as long as it takes to put everything right. The team, the backup squad, the training facilities, the scouting, and recruitment, the nursery facilities for the youngsters, and finally the once magnificent stadium which has been neglected and fallen into disrepair.

ALL OF THE ABOVE is down to one despicable excuse for a man. Countless millions of pounds were milked off into either his own pockets or wasted for his own whims.

Be patient and give fair time and the good times are just around the corner.

Can't really blame EH for the defeat yesterday.

If Newcastle United want to call ourselves a PL outfit, any team (including one jam-packed with reserves) "should" be beating Cambridge United. Easily!

The fact of the matter is, with a team that was full of FIRST TEAM fellas, we huffed and puffed but couldn't land a glove on them. Don't forget that they had at least one (memory fails me) disallowed goal so it's not as if their goal was undeserved. We had one disallowed too but that is not relevant to the fact I try to make that Cambridge didn't just turn up to park the bus. Sure we had more than 20+ attempts but come on...

Our reserves should be beating them.
Our first team should be hammering them.
They shouldn't be putting us under any sort of defensive pressure but we are far from that kind of command of a game.

At the end of the day, they fully deserved to beat us showing that our team are essentially in the wrong division. We are currently Chimpo material and this is all the evidence you need that there are teams in League One that would welcome our current first team squad and BEAT THEM!!!!!!

Their keeper showed Dubravka up - flying around the goal... ...always there. Dubs has been underperforming for some time and he is among those that could hang his head in shame. Sure, he took a knock in the goal but he doesn't escape criticism....

The team lost us that game; not EH. None of them can really object to being shipped out on masse when Summer comes; whether we manage to survive or fall through the trap door.

We cant blame EH before he has signed 6 or 7 players. Becasue there is nothing to build on in this team.

Wilson might be handy to have on the bench but other than that its championship players all over the place.

You cant expect anything from this team really.
