    reading (home)predictions

This match looks like a 0-0 all day long nobody will be bothered and players minds will be on their holidays.

Maybe on the pitch Robin, but not so much in the stadium overall.
Regrettably I foresee the possibility of much turmoil within the seated spectators, akin to the dark days of SK.
Emotions are running high and 'scapegoats' are needed, in this respect it appears to be PL is just about leading the billing.
This is something that the club can ill afford, as it makes all external onlookers ponder 'what the f**k', as it did back then.
PL to parade with the squad, bad idea. The squad itself is going to have to run a fairly awkward 'gauntlet' without PL making it any worse.
I really hope I'm wrong, but I heavily suspect it could be a very 'uncomfortable' finale.
At this point the result is of very little relevance (IMO).

    I predict a riot ..

Will the fans stop behind for the customary end of season lap of honour ..?

I know quite a few who want to shoot off to get to stanley for their final game ...how things change...

Well from what I heard it didn't kick off in the way I feared. And that's a good thing.
I think the majority of the disgruntled support elected to simply stay away.
PL's comments (just going off hearing it), could be taken either way; either he is genuinely disappointed in the 'outcome' and doesn't want to dwell too much on it. Or it's a case of : can't really be arsed just lets get the hell out.
Either way he's history and is no more interest for us. Focus is / should be what next.
A Venkys 'personal' statement would be good, but let's not hold our breath.
A rapid re-establishment of some semblance of a board would be good, but then again ???
A manager that can be all things to all people ??? Who is this guy?

    re: reading (home)predictions

At least we have ended the season on a bit of a high. If I had been online, I would actually have predicted a Rovers win for this one.
At the point I have been going back to - when PL took over Rovers (November 8th) - Reading were eighth with 24 points,
Since then, they have picked up only 28 points in 30 games - far worse than any other club except the bottom three. (We have added 38 points in that time). It was a good day to be playing them!
Still, two wins in a row must be a bit of a boost to morale, with yet another fresh start ahead of us.
