O/T Is Monkey pox the new Aids?

According to Government stats, of the 300+ cases recorded, the majority are for gay and bi - s.exual men.

Makes you think how it first came about.

In the words of a rather well known pop song:

    Hey, hey, we're the monkees,
You never know where we'll be found.
    So you'd better get ready,
We may be comin' to your town.

Can't see why. The Terence Higgins Trust certainly hasn't.

Grist you’re spot on. BBC news or even ITV news make no reference to the fact who are predominantly affected. I suppose because it’s not a killer disease, they don’t want to upset some people.

I don't tend to watch ITV news so no idea about them but I've heard it mentioned in virtually every report I've seen about it on BBC News

Mentioned pretty clearly on this article too https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-61709659

Yes, but you don't watch the Beeb with your fingers in your ears.
