Was hoping we could get him on loan for second half of the season.

I would have welcomed him, However as he scored 49 goals for them in 65 games when there before no doubt he was delighted to go back. I'd like Jake Jervis to return here but we will face opposition from other clubs for sure.

Tubbs would have been perfect for us, but obviously he prefers to play at the highest level he can, which at the prestnt time def. isnt Pompey.
