    Michael Collins

A little surprised at his imminent loan move to Wimbledon.

I see the benefit of having him fully match fit for the last month of the season on his return but unexpected injuries or suspensions in the next month could leave us a bit short in central midfield.

Russ has been praising the strength of the bench in recent weeks, and he's tended to favour Collins to Sparrow so it"s rather odd we could be potentially weakening that area. Always the option to move McSheffrey in there in an emergency, I guess.

Must have been quite keen to get away I suspect, slightly surprised by this one.

Like him or not it's taking away cover we may need. I hope if he does go we get a 24hr recall.

Now announced as a loan to the end of the season with a recall allowed after 28 days.

It appears Russ Wilcox doesn't see him as part of the future. He certainly never gave us the invention, drive or goal threat required from an attacking midfield player but I still think it could leave the bench looking a little less strong at times.
