I hope the one who was wearing the union jack top enjoyed his moment. He won't be attending any games for a while. Ikeme, Elokobi and the rest of the Wolves team had the last laugh. The hatred on show on Saturday towards individuals has no place in life or football.

Franksie on WM should demand that lying smalsall dyke come back on air for her apology!
And the vile fan who came on a bit later confirming the dykes words!

Most likely, the inbreeding from the boggies is worse than thought!
So what's the follow-up? Were they able to identify the fans involved? Banning them from attending further games would seem a reasonable response.
No action to be taken against Walsall. - view external linkOriginally Posted by Robus
Hi folks. A lot has been said and written on various forums and social network sites about this whole emotive issue. From a Walsall fans angle these are my thoughts. First off Wolves deserved their win on the day, no problem at all with that and any fair minded Saddler fan would say likewise. WFC have done a lot over the years to rid any problem that existed at Bescot and will continue to do so. I, like any other decent person, don't condone any racial abuse at all and I wouldn't hesitate to contact a steward if I heard any such abuse. What puzzles Walsall fans is that Wolves didn't make any complaint till the Monday afterwards. The media couldn't wait to slam WFC and their fans and Saddlers fans were suddenly daubed racists. WFC for their part held full and proper internal investigations with the stewards and CCTV etc and co-operated fully with the authorities. The findings were that there was no charge to be made against WFC as there was no evidence. I don't see the media retracting
Fair enough, sadlad, appreciate your efforts to provide a more balanced view of the situation.
I would think though that any Wolves' supporter who heard a racist comment coming from one lad, surrounded by a number of friends and fellow Walsall supporters, would have difficulty leaving friends and family members in the stands, go in full view to a steward, lodge a complaint, then march back in and point the finger at the culprit, in full view of the miscreant's mates. I don't know that I would have the courage to do that.![]()
