Bit of good news about our much maligned town for once, see link. They have used Rotherham as one of the towns in Yorkshire for a new BBC period drama - see link. How long before someone puts a negative slant on it?

The Thir****th Tale Starring Vanessa Redgrave was filmed at Wentworth during the summer of 2013, but the BBC are currently filming Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Suzanna Clarke which will be on television over the Christmas period 2014.

I actually watched them filming some of this at York Minster yesterday. I wondered what it was.
They seem to use York a lot. I watched them film Death Comes To Pemberley outside castle museum last July.
