A brave first step. Let's hope some of the other managers have the balls to back him up.
Evening All,
I`ve never liked this bloke but fair play to him for naming shaming and fining his players for diving.
For me, it`s a small but very important step in the right direction, lets see owners and other managers make a vocal stand against this disease. - view external link

Detest the guy.
His sentiments sound fine but just how much is a fine going to be. At least a month's wages imo.
But as we know it will not stop the rot unfortunately.
Yeah, I think fines would be laughed at by players but I don't think many Chairman would laugh at players being banned.
Banning would be great but then you have the "REFEREE's" to contend with...did he didn't he etc.
Remember the officials have their reputations to protect Alf.![]()
I'd have more respect for Pulis if he fined players for going in over the top, time wasting, stamping on opponents and all the other obnoxious tricks his Stoke team got up to under his management.
Haven't seen Palace since he joined them but I'd guess this particular leopard hasn't changed his spots too much.
Was, Is and always will be anti football imo.
have to start somewhere mate,Originally Posted by Whiskyman

Would he have come out with this guff about fining his players had Stoke lost to Arsenal. No chance.
This is the same manager that ony last year claimed that play acting, dirty tricks and time wasting was a professional part of the game.
