I'm hoping this won't be one of the subjects for the next truss meeting.

In that case I'm 120,000 English pounds sterling down. At least.

re: What is the true cost of love ?

Do you the true cost of a lady selling "love", or the cost of true love?

The latter is surely measured in emotional commitment over a time frame, whereas the former can be calculated in pounds or dollars, depending upon the locality where it is bought. For example, you would not expect to pay the same in Harrods as you would down London Fields market, E8.

When I was up @ Owens, the student weekly newspaper ran articles on the subject. It would appear that for a couple of quid back in 1965 you could buy the wares of that ilk you desired in the area known as Whalley Range/Brookes Bar.

Me? I wouldn't know, having been more concerned about paying for feeding and dressing the products of such a liaison over the last 40 years rather than worry about the lusty side of things!

I wouldn't want to put a financial value on something that is priceless. The fact is, sometimes we get it right and sometimes we get it wrong. When you get it right no money can buy it
