Was going to go and meet TFA at Magna but gotta be at Hallamshire at 7.30 tomorrow morning so scrapped that idea.

Cooked a leg of lamb Bolognese that slow cooked for 9 hours and having some friends round.
    Nice, steady and sophisticated.

Yes Brin, Mrs Jolly and me have been CAMRA members for some years now.

Plus being a career scientist I have a deep suspicion of the chemistry sets posing as "beer" in the usual outlets.

We both dropped in the revamped Cutlers last week, a nice renovation and great to see most of the original Edwardian features of the pub preserved. Good luck to Chantry in their venture though it might be hard to be profitable due to its location.

Would make a good new home for Millers fans instead of Bluecoats and the Rhymer.

Totally agree Jolly. I went in last night the place looks great. Mrs Scum couldn't have a G&T no tonic. Changed her choice to vodka and orange but no orange. Sure it's just teething problems. I was quite happy with my s

Off to watch Barnsley, then a quick bout of octopus fishing in the Maldives and finish off with a Wikipedia course in medicine.
