    Chris Powell

I've come to the conclusion that football stinks,Charlton have sacked Chris Powell,a decent honest pro and one of the good blokes, over 250 appearances for the club...they ain't been great this season but have 4 games in hand over the clubs above em due to the cup run.

So they appoint some bloke called Jose Riga...who the fu(k is he!!!!!.

Anyway it didn't take good old Sol long to pipe up did it...blaming the FA hierachy for the lack of black managers

Still got a chip shop on his shoulders...FFA

Have to agree with the original post; will no one learn from the managerial mistakes clubs are making time and time again these days? West Brom, Fulham, Cardiff, Charlton - I want them all to go down purely because the sheer naivity of their respective boards irritates me to distraction. Jose Riga? An Englishman called John Riggs with an equal track record in this country wouldn't have got a look in. It is ridiculous.

I agree with the original post. Charlton also had a reasonable FAC run this year (hence the games in hand).

Even the Championship is fickle. Blackpool haven't exactly set the world alight after sacking Ince, for all his issues, although beating the pikeys last night helped.

Wasn't Powell linked as a possible manager for QPR if they don't go up? He seems a decent and honest bloke, as he was as a player and I wish him well in his new club.

These clowns who are taking over the game are an embarrassment to the clubs and a pain in the butt. We've had Cardiff being put in red shirts, Hull resisting a change, and now Charlton are to be a feeder club for Standard Liege FFS, with the deal that Liege's under-achievers will be off to London and anything half-decent at Charlton will have a future in Belgium. Where's it all gonna end?

Sol campbell - great carrer that was only possible with his personality.

powell - average career because of his personality.
