    Just as a helper, Snooker high score is more than 148. It has something to do with a free ball.

    You are talking of a single visit to the table?

    I found this,
    Like you say the highest score you can get is 147 on the basis that you pot red then black for all the reds. If however your opponent breaks and pots the white from this first shot without anything else getting potted you have 4 points. You are still able to do a 147 break so you would get 151. If you pot the brown(4 points) after one of the reds instead of all blacks you will get the 148 target.

    There are several other ways to achieve 148 but however it is achieved it will require at least 1 foul from your opponent

    So 151 then?
