Europa league games tonight, Spurs away to Dnipro of the Ukraine, live on ITV4 now, followed by Swansea v Napoli on ITV1.

The Swansea game has some potential to entertain I guess although I have trouble getting interested in these games. I think I will stream it though.

Has a British team ever won this competition?

Chelsea won it last season woody. I get what you mean about watching it, but i think now it's reached the last 32, games should be a lot more interesting.

Spurs should be 1-0 down, Brad Friedel denies Matheus in the space of a couple of minute, first one and he was one on one with him, but Friedel stood up well.

Ref in this one has let more challenges go than the ones that officiated in the champions league. Two debatable decisions, Paulinho taken down right on the edge of Dnipro area, ref only gave a free-kick, and at the other end Danny Rose and Matheus toe to toe, Mattheus goes over. Another ref would have given the foul and also sent off.

How was that not a foul? He basically punched him out of the way!

You could see in the replay that ref was going to blow up, but maybe he saw it as a foul in Rose's favour? don't know how as only thing missing from Rose was the shoulder pads

Fair to the ref for booking Zozulya for diving. How the hell did Soldado miss that?, ask Iwelumo or Kanu

Almost an instant impact for sub Eriksen, puts the ball in the net but only just offside.
