    O/T missing Malaysian plane

Evidence suggest it went down in the Southern Indian Ocean , have to assume beyond any reasonable doubt that none on board survived.

It amazes me how it took this long to locate with the technology we have today.

RIP to all that was on board and lost their lives

Relatives told by Text message that no one survived

Indeed...very sad indeed and probably one thing they will never know how/why unless the black box is found...

    R.I.P to those poor souls...

The Chinese have finally conceded to the Malaysian Boeing 777 crashed into the sea southwest of Australia, hours & miles away from its flight path - UNNOTICED!

They have concluded this from satellite data that got a 'ping' from the functioning plane which stopped suddenly. THEY STILL HAVE FOUND NO EVIDENCE!

The passengers would have known they were off course, they have TV's inside which show the flight path. They would have therefore all died in fear, the Chinese authorities have handled this awful event like the amateurs they truly are - THEY STILL HAVE A LOT OF QUESTIONS TO ANSWER

This whole saga has sent valuable information to the wrong people, that if you want to steal a plane, unnoticed and use it as a weapon, Southern Chinese waters is the place to do it - it seems you'll have a very high success rate!

Utterly, utterly appalling. I'd have zero confidence in my safety if I was flying anywhere in or around the Far East.

    very sad

    and scary :/

something like this always goes through your mind on long trips across the Atlantic,

but the detour this plane took is very puzzling and scary

on a lighter note i always remember on one flight the captain announced "we will get you there safely but dont worry if we crash and the crash does not kill you the sharks will" haha you had to laugh

what a horrible way to die though no doubt someone was trying to get to another country but i dont think now we will ever find out what really happened

How do you know everyone on board wasn't unconscious? It's happened before with the Helios Airways Flight 522.

I agree it's disgusting about texting the horrible news to the relatives, especially as they have supposedly text them in English when all they can speak is Chinese.

I travel in the Far East regularly. For a total experience of luxury, safety, organisation, courtesy and any other quality award you can give them, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai airports are the very best in the world.

Until I know why this plane crashed I will continue travelling there with every confidence.
