0-0 Crawley v Carlisle,at half=time, with Craws having most of the play.
We keep thinking its all between us and Tranmere next Sat or maybe I do but IF we both win and Notts County who are away to Oldham who are beating Sheff Utd as we speak, lose on Sat, then its NC who will be relegated and we both stay up..
Another Derby to look forward to next year then..
How's that for a positive post?![]()

Now we know, its between us, Notts,Tranmere, and Carlisle.![]()
Think the Notts Co result is more relevant for Tranmere than us.
Win and we're safe anyway, draw and we still won't catch Notts Co (unless they're beaten by a fif**** goal margin!)
Carlisle would need to win at Wolves and us and Tranmere to both lose with a 4 goal swing in goal difference...or us to lose, Tranmere to draw and themselves to win at Molineux by a 5 goal margin.
I'm assuming it goes to goals scored if teams can't be separated by goal difference in both scenarios above - but it does n't look like it will come down to that now...
Bottom line is we need an equal or better result than Tranmere unless something truly spectacular happens at Molineux.
Notts have been playing best of all the bottom 6 and Crewe will have to WIN to beat them IF they slip up but I can not see it. Crewe and Tranemere are the Unpredictable Pair and its between those 2 for sure.
Just to be clear, I accept it could come down to goal difference if we lose and Tranmere draw but I mean nothing we do on Sat can influence that - our GD is already worse than Tranmere's and would obviously continue to be so if we lose and they draw.Originally Posted by DGFG
Good positive post this. Exactly what we need leading up to this important game. Everybody should get behind the team and create a positive feeling around the place. We need every little bit of help/advantage that we can get.Originally Posted by MikeSB
