He certainly is a good PR man.
It appears there's no way back for any of those players that went out on loan, i hope a solution is found, because Kenny Jackett has and will continue to build his own squad.
I certainly hope so, Gav. Can't fault him so far!Originally Posted by wolves71
I understand that Harry Redknapp wants to sign Kevin Doyle permanently. I haven't got a source for that, but it is also mentioned on 'Wolves Rumours'.

Redknapp and Doyle were in the E&S today. And while we will never recoup the price we paid for him, just getting him off the wage bill frees up some money.
Jez says he wants the momentum to continue and be built on. I wonder what it would take to continue that momentum. Do we have to get promoted again? Finish in the playoffs? Get near the playoffs? Midtable? Just survive? I'm curious to hear some answers. Might be worth a thread.

Thanks Gav.
Although Doyle is an excellent professional and a very hard worker, I feel it is time for him to move on. He was great at winning the ball from punts from the goalkeeper, but we don't really play that way now and I don't want us to go back to playing that way.
I can't see that he would fit into Kenny's plans for that reason and also, because of his age. I would certainly wish him all the best at a new club.
Ward, Johnson, Doyle, OHara don't let the door hit you on the way out.![]()
I think play offs would be a very good season IMO.
