Let down the West Ham way

In no way have I supported the Hammers as long as others on here, been a season ticket holder in the past, loved watching my team back in the day from the all standing North Stand.

I know this post will annoy some, as every post seems to have the same sort of theme at the moment... Sorry Kirk

I am fully aware of the yoyo club we have been, but why should we be constantly let down by the club...
In the recent years, we had the hope of glory times with the Icelandic owners, didnt go to plan at all really, did it...
The latest owners claim to be West Ham fans, 10 point plan to make us a top club, invested a fair amount of money in the transfer market, yet we are still struggling.

The big question to me is why is this still continuing?????

If I were to buy a struggling company, there is no way that I would keep on the people in charge who failed to produce previously. Why does Brown have anything to do with West Ham????

The problems with our famous club lie 100% in the hands o

Not an awful lot to argue with there.

I am certainly of the opinion that we are due a bit of success.

can't argue with too much of that either. supported their takeover but been amateur hour last 18 months with one focus. money. shame really, could have been so much better if they showed 'some' ambition. sadly, not 1%. took the easy option and fu(k the fans. didn't have that read on them on arrival.

I said on another thread that during feb, the "manager of the month" month, we had a lot of fortune in those games.

HamsterCheeks smugly took the credit as it's a result business. Had the fortune not massively swung in our favor during three games, we would now be on 33 like West Brom.

Any sensible analysis would suggest without a squad improvement we will struggle again next season.

We need a root and branch managerial change. HamsterCheeks and all his backroom staff need to be replaced.

I would suggest we would benefit with a director of football appointment. Tasked with re-building our footballing identity along the lines of Southampton/Liverpool. Progressive, attacking football. S.hit-can this "park-the-bus" b.ollocks. I'm not paying 42 pounds for that.

Those that are happy with HamsterCheeks carry on. I'm not in that camp, but you guessed that already.

The fact that he's pledged not to buy another striker and stick with the Carroll/Nolan partnership as long as possible has got me worried.

Next season we will be bottom half with no cup success and little else to cheer.

TBH Bonzo, i don't think he has evolved at all since his Bolton years. So it's unsurprising and very predictable.

Dont think theres much wrong with what you said irons, was just thinking about the **** squad and their so called ambitions.

They bought Birmingham for a pound and sold, they had the chance to offer a bid for us but only did so when things began to go tits up for us and thus gave them a grip on our short and curlies.

I think the only way we will have a mediocre chance of any success if they stay, is if we get another manager with more ambition. The only plus with the **** boys is that they have in general left the managing job to the manager, so they would have no trouble giving the job to a more ambitious manager and concentrating, themselves, on bringing in the bucks. Oops forgot! It would mean taking a chance.

Excellent point. Kids today can watch the likes of Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern Munich, PSG and so on on the t v week in, week out.

Don't think there's a danger we'll fall behind the likes of Palace though. They will be in the same situation as 95% of clubs. We are in a society now where instant success is demanded.

The clubs that will attract crowds will be the ones that win things, or at least compete at the highest level. There are already moves afoot to change the way the t v revenues are distributed so that the clubs which attract more viewers (the successful ones) get more of the cake.

It will inevitably happen and clubs t

Exactly something I was trying to put across, maybe the red wine had something to do with not managing it.

We have had the proverbial carrot dangled a few times, I don't think it is fair to be labeled as fickle if we want a bit more. Its not like we are Arsenal fans calling for Wengers head.

Well due past some more stable success, which is not going to happen if things stay the same.

I will go to the Spurs game, if the Fat Northerner is still in charge next season, I will not be back until he's gone. It pains me and it will be hard, but I see no reason to pay 50 quid or more for the dross he serves up. Add to that his obvious disdain for the traditions and history of my wonderful club, I want nothing to do with him and will not give him my hard earned.
