    How shocking is Downing?

Ok call me a whatever for picking him out but the bloke has been dire all season. 8million quid 50k a week. laughable.
I mean how many decent crosses does he put into Csrroll? That is Sams great plan eh?
Doesn't even chip in with a goal now and then.

Find him to be a bottle job.

No goals in his last 60 games and only 4 assists.

BFS philosophy is f*cking doing my head in,so god know`s what them players are going through.

He turns decent attacking one`s in to poor one`s that can`t even pass or cross a ball. Those that still suffer with being able to pass, cross and score goals from outside the box shall be sent out on loan.

    Exaggerating,not one bit,I`m afraid.

Very shocking. 8M waste of money. He was limited at England, limited at Liverpool.

Downing's been no great shakes granted. But I think he cost 4 million. If that is compared with the 9 million for Jarvis and, even worse, the 17 million spunked on Carroll it doesn't sound too bad.

But what it does prove imo is that SA might be OK in Poundstretcher but a fool with his money in Fortnum & Mason.

I dont mind Downing he represents value for money. He has a hard job to do if we played with 2 up front Im sure the ball would reach its target a lot more, its not so much the delivery thats the problem its the receiving that is

    i agree.

it's hard to get enthusiastic about beating a player and putting a cross in when all you have to aim for is carroll with three defenders hanging off of him.
