Kenny Jackett has selection dilemma over Richard Stearman

Kenny Jackett may rest Stearman to avoid the player getting a two match ban if booked. Stearman is on nine bookings and one more at the weekend will mean a ban. If Jackett decides to rest Stearman then the threat of a ban won't come into force after the second Sunday in April.

The question is, play or rest Richard Stearman? - view external link

Loved the way the Mail described Stears as a 'No Nonsense' Centre back, they obviously have not see much of his Wolves career as Nonsense would quite accurately describe his defensive capabilities at times, but give him his due last season in League 1 and this season he has been much improved an my man of the match on a couple of occasions he's more valuable to us in the games against Ipswich an 'Boro than the total liability that plays along side him!
    I say rest him.

So rest him one game to avoid the risk of seeing him suspended for two games? Ordinarily I would say play him. But given that both of the two games he might miss are against rivals for a playoff spot, it might be worth benching him. What's your opinion?

    Play him!

Not playing him presents a selection problem. He may not get booked and we continue with our first choice. If he does get booked, then we have the same selection problem.

We need to go for it with our first choice team selection. This is no time to go running scared.

Stearman has played in all the games since he was booked at Bournemouth. Three points is a must on Saturday so i say play our best eleven. I'd rather Stearman started.

Play him, can't be worrying about bookings. If a suspension occurs deal with it then, hopefully after we have 3 points in the bag!

Agree play him, we have Kortney Hause well able to play in that position , only thing is he could make it his own !!! He loves that position.

We have to play him IMO.

The best team on any given day should be chosen
