    Season ticket sales

I've just bought 2 at the cost of 738 pounds each, and there weren't many decent pairs of seats left to choose from. The alternative was to wait and see if any current season ticket holders failed to renew.

We have averaged 30,000+ gates in every one of our top flight seasons at St. Mary's so there is a possibility that next season seats will be hard to come by.

I doubt there will be much interest in match day tickets next season let alone season tickets once poochie, lala and shawey have gone. Season after you be able to buy on the door when you back to half packed stadiums and closing the corners again.

As I said , you ain't a footballing town, never have, never will be.

    WTF are you on about???

Southampton is a football city with twice the number of fans supporting its club that Portsmouth has. Saints gates have been double little Pompey's for all of my lifetime. There is almost zero interest in PFC in Portsmouth. The few fans you do have come from small towns and villages like Petersfield and Lovedean.

I think someone needs to look up success in the dictionary.

Pompey the most successful club south of London, 2 times league champions, 2 times fa cup winners, most recently 6 years ago.

Highest attendance at a football ground south of London.

17000 in league two, that's what you call support.

You are a glutton for punishment.

Proud of having a 17,000 gate in League Two, are you?

In 1960-61, Pompey in Division Two averaged 14,980. In the same season, Southampton in Division Three AVERAGED (note it wasn't just 1 gate) 18,665.
