    Quite early this time.

btw had a nasty accident with a new mini battery powered trimmer. Almost took the top of my left forefinger off.

Lots of blood and very painful. No stitches and held together with plaster for now.

    I wasn't Chis

Changing the blade.Holding the body of the trimmer in my right hand.

As I was pulling the one blade off it was quite stiff I accidently squeezed the safety button and start button at the same time .

Nano second of action but enough. Need to be more careful

Its a new mini type trimmer for small shrubs/box hedges that sort of thing

Bloke down the electric shop did that. Lost two fingers right down to the palm of the hand. Difficult to pick up pins and indulge in arse scratching but very easy for him to flick the v's nowadays.

My cousin lost a finger when he tripped and fell while strimming the hedge. He said he was relieved to lose just the one finger, as he went down he reckoned he was pretty close to losing a hand.
And that would have been the end of his career as a dentist.

Sounds like BC got away lightly then whilst she was trimming her front garden!!

When I was a kid and requesting to do the mowing, my Dad used to tell me loads of horror stories about kids who had lost limbs from lawnmowers. I always used to think he made them up to scare me into keeping safe...now I'm not so sure.
