Well assuming the 3 players we have offered new deals to stay.

We need a right back (hopefully Tavs)

    Need another centre half

    A central midfielder (hopefully Smallwood)

A striker or two, wouldn't mind Hitchcock coming back good option off the bench and young, need someone more experienced too.

    Oh and a keeper

Hopefully the likes of Rose, Walker and Rowe can push on and push for a place in the team.

    ok, i'm game:

    A goalie
    A left back
    2 centre halves
    A right sided/ midfielder/ winger
    Another 2 forwards
And, knowing Steve, another central midfielder

Bobs ya uncle success in the championship

1xGK, 1xCB(2 if Arnason declines), 1xRB(2 if Bradley declines), 1xLB and/or 1xLM(depending on where Milsom will be used), 1xRM, 1xST(2 if Thomas declines).

Looking at it.. Least 6 new players. Too many to come in at once maybe?

I honestly dont think we will sign a bucket load of players, think Evans will go for quality over quantity and will use the loan market as and when to cover injuries.

Whilst we will have extra TV money, the budget will be small compared to most in the Championship, we know Steve likes to have plenty of attacking options available, so I would expect we would have more options here then having lots of defensive cover.

    I said about six
Think I will agree with you and we all know Evans likes to fetch midfielders in

Arnie will sign and Tavs will sign
Smallwood may be enticed to come on loan again

Rest is up to King Steve.

I thought he had made his first mistake getting rid of Nards but he hadn't. So, what do I know. I'll happily leave it to SE.

In the meantime, been down to club today and bought another 2 season tickets for my nephews. If some others are able to do the same, that would be great.

This is a club with a future, hopefully more can now back it.

Smallwood has said he would consider a permanent move to us, think its comes down to what the two club agree on

We need AT LEAST 6, with only 11 players under contract not counting young lads. Excited to see who comes in, all in all you have to trust SE based on the end result of his ins and outs. No doubt we will have some of the 6 or more as loan players. I reckon we will sign 4 or 5 perms (hopefully including Tavs) plus another 4 or so on loan.. UTM

    New Physio!

1 Keeper - preferably an older pro in my opinion who wants to help coach Collin with Dibble and play the odd game when needed - Pollitt on a 12mnth deal anyone?

1 Centre Back to replace Morgan, who should drop to the bench for now. St Ledger looks a good prospect if money is right. Edgar, Richardson and Whitbread are all available on free's at the moment too and will be wanting to get 1st team football.

1 new right winger - No idea. Lopez at Brighton is again out of contract and he has an eye for the net too.

1 New Striker, though we will end up with 2. Id personally want to see Aagard given the strikers role alongside Revs and no use on the wings. If he starts tapping in goals though it might be worth listening to offers.

This is assuming we sign Tav's - which I think will be happening within the month. I cant see Newcastle giving him the chance in the first team.
