    Luc Castaignos

Sky Sports transfer centre reporting Swansea have agreed a deal for him with FC Twente for A£6.5mil. And some people thought he'd be the player coming in from abroad!

The dutch fans on r/soccer all say he is very poor and will fail in the Prem. They also think the 6m figure is a totally ridiculous. Sounds like an overrated player with a good agent.

Well they did sign him for 6 million Euros in 2012, not sure what the exchange rate would be then but that's only going to be about A£2mil more than they signed him for so hardly ridiculous. He was 19 when they signed him and now he's 21 so I'd expect his price to rise.

some of us with a bit of sense did point out how ridiculous a suggestion it was.
