Rumours we are in talks with Man City for Scott Sinclair.
Can't see it myself as we couldn't afford his wages and I would've thought he would want a move to a Prem club...I do think he will move on the cheap though.
Interesting that John Vicars has come out on Twitter to say he won't be commenting on rumours, not something he has said before.
Sinclair would be a quality signing though and just shows the sort of players we will get linked with under McClaren.

Where did you hear this rumour?
SkyBet have got some transfer specials and Scott Sinclair is one of the players on their page. I'll post the link to it, the betting for Sinclair is near the bottom.
We're 16/1 to sign him, nine teams are more favoured. We were 10/1 before the play-off final was played so perhaps the rumour you've heard depended on the league we're in. Wouldn't mind seeing him and Russell behind Martin next season but with the wages he's on, it would only be a loan move with City having to pay the majority of his wages. - view external link
I was talking with my son in the week about Scott Sinclair and we both agreed that in our opinions he'd fit in well with the way we play - pacey player that can play wide. I remember his fast breaks when he played against us!
It all depends on his salary expectations, he'd be on a fair amount at city but may be prepared to take a big cut for a new challenge!?
There is absolutely no chance of him coming to Derby next season.
He won't take a cut like the one he'd need to to come here. If he came at all it would be a loan with City paying most of his wages, and if that was possible then I'm sure PL clubs like Leicester would be happy to take him and give him PL football which would suit City more, he's still got 2 years left there.Originally Posted by fedupwitwk
If he was to take a cut to join permanently he'd need to lose himself about 40k a week, and would you leave Man City on 50 odd grand a week to go to a Championship team for 10 grand a week? I wouldn't.
This would be incredible however reality says it's not that likely for a variety of reasons (I'll keep my fingers loosely crossed just incase though)
Isn't it exciting to be linked with players of that ilk though
What with it being ******** im not that excited really
I doubt he'd have the attitude needed to fit in with the rest of the lads. I'm not too fussed about any big time boys dropping down here thinking they're better than us unless it's a promising youngster on loan. Part of the reason I wouldn't want Bamford back permanently.Originally Posted by triz
Doesn't seem like the most reputable page but I found it quite a coincidence to read this thread earlier, open my twitter feed a minute ago and see this retweeted by another football account... - view external link
