    Letter to Fawaz

Seeing as ***** Forests reputation and members have been damaged in the recent mud slinging, caused by 1 member. The editor has penned a letter to Fawaz asking for clarity some restoration of peace.
I thought it was a good read and a classic example of how football forums are taken as gospel by some, as FACT!
I hope he replies eventually, as he is in Kuwait at the moment.
    Maybe McGovern will comment?

    Dear Fawaz Al Hasawi,

I hope that you don`t mind the method of contact, but I feel duty bound to use this platform, to raise some of the concerns that myself and some of my fellow Forest fans have. Clearly, these views are mainly my own and not representative of all those that use ***** Forest.

It is no secret that Nottingham Forest Football Club faced a very grim future, following the sad and untimely passing of Nigel Doughty - so, as we approach the 2nd anniversary of you and your family purchasing the club, initially, I would like to thank you for taking on such a huge commitment.

You may be surprised to learn that the majority of fans are grateful - STILL, for you securing our future and avoiding the impending financial Armageddon, however - with 2 years of experience behind you, and tens of A£millions lighter in the Bank - you will be acutely aware of how perilous and precarious running such a club can be.

I fully appreciate you embracing, acknowledging and paying homage to th

a plan that involves developing our youngsters; players like Darlow, Osborn, Paterson & Lascelles. Yes, big stars are great, but they sometimes bring unrealistic, aspirational expectations.

We have the nucleus of a great squad - on the pitch, some key additions are needed - much like on the administrative side. The key message to get over to you, we do understand that NFFC`s long term future and stability ranks as the greatest priority - Rome was not built in a day!

So, Mr Chairman - my challenge/request to you - invite the press and those representing fans forums to the City Ground - tell us your plans, let us understand and then we can help to deliver a realistic message, where Nottingham Forest Football Club and it`s fans unite.

I am proud of our history and heritage, I want to be just as proud of our performances now and in the future.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Yours faithfully,

    Our Kids Dad.
Forest Fan & Editor, ***** Nottingham Forest.

Christ Almighty, the author ought to get a girlfriend.
I would tell him that if you take your replica top off no one will connect you with an untrustworthy football club and you would feel no more shame.

Honestly typing/sending a letter like that and hoping for a reply?
It's as if Fawaz owes him something. Too full of himself. A bit more courtesy may have achieved the desired effect.

Nothing wrong whatsoever with them sending that to Fawaz, we DO need clarity. As for taking football forums as gospel, pot, kettle, black springs to mind, don't you hang on EVERY word SBC says?

    Oooooooh another dig.
No I don't hang on to his every word. He hardly posts,
I asked him to post because he isn't controversial and gives a honest opinion. You just post negativity, that's why there's no point asking you.
That's your stance, fair enough, but it's not what I
