    Paying foyour Season ticket

New one this year - card fee for both credit and debit cards

Take your chequebook or the cash to avoid this

Never had a debit card anywhere except ripoff airlines??

This has been the case for a couple of years now. Cash or cheque receives no penalty. They even took a photo of me this time. Must be the good looks.

I don't recall a fee for debit card last year as I used that way instead of credit card. Now, where did I put that cheque book?

Trust me, there was a charge for debit card and that is why I always use the old fashioned method of cash or cheque. It is an age thing.

As Mick says, defo a charge for debit card last 2 years. In 2012 I was able to pay by BACS from online banking without penalty, but can't remember if that was the case last year.

When I asked why there was a charge for a debit card I was told "Most clubs do it". My response that we were supposed to better than most clubs received a weary smile.

The renewal mail/pamphlet includes an option to pay by bank transfer (and includes the club's bank details to enable this) - admittedly a little more effort on behalf of the supporter but would presumably avoid the debit card charge and less onerous than writing and mailing/taking in a cheque (imo).

Yes, but if you do come up and buy your season ticket at the ground, you can have a look at the glorious newly sown pitch. The sprinklers were working when we were there. Beautiful sight.

a charge of A£2 it costs more in petrol if go to take a cheque, probably the same for most s its easy additional little income for the club although banks have started charging for all card transactions following their massive losses due to PPI
