Did anyone see the bbc doc about Le Mans 1955?
A little before my time but i knew some of the history as my father is/was into his motor racing.
A terrible tragedy that changed the sport.
Both Mercedes and Jaguar didn't return for 30 years.

There was also the awful accident at the Mille Miglia in Italy when a car crashed into the crowd. That brought about the end of that particular road race.
Not sure about that Mille Miglia spelling.
