In some respects, it's pointless to have these trialists when we are playing them against sides like Norton Utd. Surely the club know which players are going to be realistic as potential signings so they should be given more than a week to impress.
See we have released the 2 on trial.
When was the last time we actually signed up a trialist?
Hope we haven't missed out especially on the winger ala Winnall last season.

Perhaps the Vale will sign them
I too thought the Everton lad was worth a punt, but hey.
Ellington was on trial for about 6 months! Same for the lad Johnson we've just signed.
Winall was a mistake and I think SD will admit that.
Speaking to Bakes a few years back and he said it was like a revolving door at this time of the season with regards to trialists.
Give it time and we will get someone right I have faith, at least we are not making the same mistakes as to last season with signings.
maybe we should have like an open day - invite any say centre forwards to come to the heath and put forward there case for us wanting them
with a wage limit to stop people we cant afford arriving
just a thought

I'm sure SD will ... ...that's if he's even thinking about it - which I very much doubt!
