Friendly on Saturday - Real Betis (!)

Fair play if this is confirmed - the fact Kilmarnock ared in the URL is a bit bizarre, though they seem to have a game on Saturday already. - view external link

There must be some reason why it's a closed door affair. I wonder what it is?

    Aha...now on the official site!

"The club were keen to have the match made open for ‘Well fans, but with the commitments of the local Police force, stewarding companies and other contractors currently elsewhere, the match will have to be played behind closed doors."

Not caring one jot about getting in or not or the result, more interested in the much needed game time against quality opposition.

Make use of it boys and get your act together for next week.

as a PS, do we really need Policing for a euro-friendly ????

Alas the police have the first and last word on this If they say no that 'a it. They have no vestige interest in the game or the fans It all pools down to the opinion of the 'match Commander.' So if he says nope can't do it then that is how it ends agree it seems harsh but football and stewarding/ policing are now part of the game.

Correction: stewarding and policing now control and run the game.
