Not a chip at all. Some people really need to open their eyes. A bad start and many will be proclaiming me the messiah!!!

The squad is weaker than at the end of last season. Where are the three or four quality and inexpensive signings that we've added year in year out.

Just the signing of one of the loan players and a handful of development. For the last five years we've had players who build the first team squad and can potentially really move the club forward.

But this year just a number retained. You tell me from the end of last season how we've moved forward on the playing side. In fact even from the end of the season before?

What other British coach has won a league title abroad with an unfancied team for example, Manu players are forever singing his praises, The prem loans we get, their coaches have said Mac is the reason they are trusting us with the development of their players.

A right back? Done - Christie is a realtive unknown quantiy but fits the bill of low cost players with potential.
