    A well put question, KMCAA.
Until now I have avoided contributing to the negative bandwagon that has been gathering pace on this forum, but I do feel very frustrated with the lack of communications from our club.
Like everyone else I feel they really screwed up in the Europa League, but to then batten down the hatches and fail to communicate is a basic PR error. Football PR is amongst the easiest there is – there are more column inches to be filed on the subject than any other. Journalists are always interested in what's going on and it would not be hard to get some of the team briefed to talk to the media – John Sutton on Can he match his brother's career goal tally (119 v 148)?; what does Craig Moore’s rehab involve?; Vigurs – is this his season to flourish; Ainsworth - has he found a club to settle at; a double interview with the Law brothers as the both kick off in Scotland etc. etc. etc.
I can only assume that with Alan Burrows taking on CEO duties that the PR has been left to a

Promoting someone from head of media to basically running the club is one helluva jump. I don't know mr burrows and i don't know what kind of job he'll do at that level, but one thing's for sure, he hasn't hit the ground running.

Yes it's advertised on the club website also the Scottish media is full of the start of the new season is 9th August.
You need to be in a very dark hole unable to receive newspapers or telecoms links or internet or TV reception not to know this.
If however you are waiting for a personal invite to attend it's not going to happen, I have supported the 'WELL for over 55years and I have never had to wait for someone to tell me there is a game on. Then again I am not one for complaining if everything isn't going my way, possibly to do with my military upbringing and the ability to find out things for myself.
    I reiterate.
'Mon the 'WELL, you have my full support.

I will be their tomorrow as well and give my full support but would like to know what team i am likely to see. Now even if they had 11 injuries i would still be their but dosnt stop me wanting updated on injury front as just read mccalls press conference and not a mention of the so called 5 injured defenders. I call it caring for my team its like someone you love being in hospital and nobody telling you whats going on maybe a bit extreme but thats the way i feel at moment as no info on team matters coming out at all and thats all i am interested in my team

I'm not missing any point I will find out what teams playing when the announcer announces it ... Reading an injury list in the paper or who is not really doesn't worry me. I rarely buy a pear these days I rarely if ever read the after match reports cos the opinion of some half @rsed hack is no mor valid that the opinion of those I go to the games with and best of all my own eyes.
