Everton FootyMad Dud Of The Match: Leicester City Game

Going for Romelu Lukaku without a second thought. Considering his size and pace etc. I'd have expected him to cause problems for their defence, and have more of an influence on the game. But credit to the Leicester defence, they handled him very well :/

    Johnny Stones. Roll on home.

He was the weak link for us today. The lad is a pleasure to watch at times but sometimes his insecure need to prove himself as being more of a link player than a defender is his undoing and he should do his job and no more. He lost out on some easily won balls today and I felt that really cost us more than anything else that went on.

The defence ( aside baines )

Between them they won about 4 headers the whole game.

You'd think we'd be used to defending hoof-ball after a decade of attempting to perfect it.
