... for Tidser, Pringle, Frecklington and Agard (from Bristol).
All turned down - no offer for any of our players from Leeds - yet the muppetry on this board have Agard gone to Leeds because he's greedy (when it's RUFC who want more money from Bristol or whoever)and some are considering giving him jip if he plays tomorrow - what planet do our so called fans live on - I mean quoting Twitter for gods sake - more muppets posting made up drivel - what a set of t...ers.

Players will come and players will go, but some leave with dignity intact and others don't.
Agard is starting to look like Deon Burton.
As said by Heman on another thread then I will support whoever wears the shirt but that loyalty demands equal loyality from the players involved..if they start to take the pi$$ then my loyalty to them is nil.
Although you ... it out I'm guessing "what a set of twitters" would be appropriate. Unfortunately we are living in an age of mass misinformation due to the darling 'social media' and yet we still berate more "trusted" media sources such as TV, radio and god forgive, newspapers.Originally Posted by Galant

Folk are making assumptions without knowing the figures and all the stuff going on behind the scenes. Which is stupid and makes you look so IMHO.

I would say you're being naive to say the least. It's not stupidity to believe that Agard wants more money than we are offering him, that is within our budget and valuation, as demonstrated many times. His
...and after all has been said and done what has changed over the past week or so - we lost out on paying £800,000 for a player untried at this level and instead got a £1,5000,000 player on loan who we can try out with a view to extending the loan for a season - nothing else has happened except the fact that we progressed to round 2 of the league cup - not a bad week all in all - and today Wolves at home with our biggest home Millers Fans attendance baring the end of season spectaculars - rejoice - enjoy.
We'd not be sat watching the Millers if it wasn't for Deon Burton so I don't get the point you're making.Originally Posted by jolly_roger
Ultimately, Agard will do what's right for him (as we all do). So long as he does the business, I'm not bothered whether he's talking to every club in the league and sulking (not that there's any evidence of that).
There were plenty of games last season where he looked a bit jaded or disinterested (particularly when out wide). Then he'd pop up and score the winner and all would be good.
If the goal at Derby had gone in at the end, no one would be saying anything.
Crack on, see what happens, get a decent fee if he goes.
Didn't have a problem with Deon Burton going to Wednesday. Footballers are in it for the money, end of.
It was the fee we received that rankled me, Wednesday paying a pittance knowing once they had shown an interest Deon would want to be off.
I remember ringing football heaven at the time, saying the fee was a joke. I can't remember who was the host, Seth Bennet or Luke Walker I think. They basically said the fee was fair for a league 1 striker. I asked them if the boot was on the other foot and it was Wednesday in a league 1 playoff place, with someone coming in for their leading scorer who was in red hot form, what would they be saying Wednesday should get, my guess was 500'000. He just came out with some crap about Deon being a bit of a journeyman before cutting me off.
Radio Sheff Wednesday, always been very bias imo!!
Also with Burton he cracked on that he had flu and got his girlfriend to phone in for him. He then was seen at hillsborough discussing terms.
Agard has already missed some training sessions for "talks"
Like I said earlier, good luck to him, it's his job, but he needs to tread carefully because Millers fans are very unforgiving.
