It will only cost you around two million bucks

Got $2M? Spend it on the first Superman comic.

Every few years we see a story about Action Comics No. 1, the first-ever Superman comic, hitting the auction block. Since so few copies of the 1938 book exist, it always fetches big bucks.

In a couple weeks Action Comics No. 1 reappears, only this time almost anyone can bid. Starting Aug. 14, Darren Adams, the owner of Pristine Comics in Federal Way, Wash., will auction a copy on eBay. It's expected to sell for more than $2 million.

Aside from the very public eBay angle, this auction is notable because it's the most well-preserved copy in existence (that we know of). As the item description notes, "this is the only known copy with 'perfect white' pages."

Right now you can head to ebay.com/action-comics to get pre-qualified to bid, watch an interesting video about the issue and see a list of other historic comics on eBay that perhaps you can afford.
