    British politics wake up

Many people do not like UKIP. I would actually agree, that in the long run, they are not what we need. However, they do an important job at the moment and that is to give the rest of them a swift kick in the gonads.

Take the latest defection. What he says is spot on. Most of them talk the talk, but in no way are interested in walk the walk.
They want your votes. They do not want to change and are only interested in lining their own pockets.
The Eu wastes billions, on stupid projects and lining their own pockets in expenses and super pensions.
I didn't vote for this and neither did you.
The Tories dance around it. They won't change and I applaud Mr Carswell for his actions in declaring it.
The figures show a rise in immigration from the EU, now hitting 243 000. It is unsustainable and potentially a disaster. This figure does not include the student fraudsters/Illegal entry/ asylum / under the radar entrants.
Our borders are a joke, the money drain a joke, the policies imposed on us a

Don't vote UKIP, vote for the Green Party who do have representation in Parliament and much much more in Europe where there is no first past the post. If we get out of Europe it won't be long before we revert to our dirty old ways and become again the dirty man of Europe, filthy beaches, sending acid rain over the Scandinavian forests and making the Irish Sea radioactive. Now the latest is that we are breaking European law and causing 7000 premature deaths each year by failing to control diesel emissions.

If Margaret Thatcher could get rid of lead in petrol, surely it's not beyond the rest of us to do something about Diesel. What is transport anyway? It's just moving things about which are in the wrong place. With sensible planning things could be in the right place. What's the point in moving biscuits down a motorway from Glasgow to Nottingham and then sending Nottingham biscuits to Glasgow by similar means. Just manufacture locally for local needs by people who work in the community and don't clog up the roads with vast commutes.
