    Send for Gunnar

Sorry Dan you will never be a number 1 sold both goals yesterday ,majority of the goals you have lost have been shots from outside the box .Set the wall up yesterday and still got beat at the post you were guarding ,bring back the Fisherman although he doesn't fill me with confidence either

Sorry to disagree but I thought Dan was our best player.

He made lots of first class saves and he's entitled to expect his defenders to restrict the opposition from having free hits in the 20-30 yard range.

The guy hasn't got the physical attributes to be a top class keeper. He may pull off a few decent saves during a match, but it's no use if you keep throwing one or two in the back of the net just about every other game. Shots from distance seem to catching him out to often.

Dan saved us from another drubbing, yes its his job but where is the cover, tackles, blocks coming from midfield or defense?

The midfield are worse than useless right now every one of them slower than a cart horse. McManus is turning in performances that are turning him into a liability. The only guys with any pace are Kerr , O'Jama and when he can be arsed Ainsworth (and Kerrs pace is relative to whats around him)

Bang on Stevie it's going to be midfield that shall be our downfall this season .Cant track back help our defence and too slow to help front line...

Gunnar isn't the answer he is very suspect,Dan is just suspect.Hate to say it but with Dan in goal any player shooting from outside the box good chance be in goal of the season...

I dont understand why we keep going on about dans height he is same height as lots of great keepers like victor valdes for 1 is bigger than andy goram and half an inch smaller than darren randolph so i have no problem if people go on about him losing long distance shots as i feel he is slow in getting arms up but IMO nothing to do with height.

I'm one of those who's not convinced it's about height - reaction time / decision - making (though he's a decent shot - stopper) and technique probably have more to do with it. And even if we had Neuer in goals we'd still need to do a bit more to block shots, not at the last ditch, but further out. Too many teams are getting too many pot - shots.
